- 2. in good physical and mental conditions, with good academic performance and conduct;
- 3. committed to the Chinese language education, teaching and related work;
- 4. between the ages of 16 and 35 (as of September 1, 2021). Applicants currently working as Chinese language teachers shall not be over 45 years old.
- 5. Applicants shall have a minimum score of 180 on HSK Test (Level 3). Priority will be given to applicants who provide an HSKK test score.

To promote and support online Chinese language education, the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (hereafter referred to as CLEC) of the Ministry of Education of China has set up an Online Scholarship Program for International Chinese Language Teachers (hereafter referred to as "the Scholarship”). *1. Passport-sized photo
A passport-sized photo taken recently of the applicant.
*2. Photocopy of valid passport
With name, passport number & expiration date, and photo included

*4. High school graduate certificate
Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.
*5. High school academic transcript
Academic transcript in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.
*6. A recommendation letter by the head of the recommending institution.
7. In-service Chinese language teachers shall attach the incumbency certificate and a recommendation letter issued by the institute they work at.
8. Applicants under 18 years old shall submit a guardianship entrustment document signed by their guardians residing in China.
Tips:
For applicants who are in China: If you are an employee, you still need to provide employment separation certificate and your current residence permit. If you are a student, you need to provide transfer certificate, leaving certificate, certificate of attendance rate issued by previous school and your current residence permit. - How to Apply
